From November 18th – 20th FORUM8 will host The 14th FORUM8 Design Festival. This year’s event will be a hybrid event ..feel free to join the main event online, registration is now open!

FORUM8’s Design Festival is a platform used to announce product enhancements as well as to showcase ongoing research and exciting applications of the company’s 3DVR software. This year’s event will focus on the DX, Digital Transformation, era and how changes in workstyle are impacting business.

On the theme of Mobility as a Service (MAAS), the Festival will host the 5th Autonomous Driving Conference, where four industry experts will provide a lecture series focused on autonomous driving systems in the simulation of new digital city concepts and the impact of autonomous driving on road safety, infrastructure, transportation, and tourism.

FORUM8’s VR Design Studio (aka UC-win/Road) 3DVR simulation software is widely used by the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers, universities and urban planners working on the next generation of driverless vehicles, ADAS systems and advanced driver training programs. Delegates to the Design Festival will have an opportunity to see a demonstration of the FORUM8 Safe Driving Simulator which uses dynamic 3DVR simulations of the full range of real-world traffic and environmental conditions in a controlled classroom setting.

In addition, the festival will also feature a range of specialist design awards including the 19th 3DVR Simulation Contest showcasing the many possible uses of VR Design Studio (aka UC-win/Road). Day two will include the announcement of the winners of the 8th Student Cloud Programming World Cup, and the 10th Student BIM & VR Design Contest on Cloud; these attract entries from across the globe.
